Princess and the Quilts (Full Day Workshop)

This workshop will reintroduce you to a well-known fairy tale and will tell the story of how the quilts played a part. The instructions are in the book and will make a great teaching and sharing moment with the children in your life. The workshop includes a copy of The Princess and the Quilts. The quilts you are making are doll-size, approximately 10"x14". A fabric kit will be available for purchase. All levels of experience welcome. 

After picking a theme, we will design and construct our own personal postcards. Have fun with your scraps and embellishments and finish these cards with fun quilting and decorative edge stitching. You will go home with your one-of-a-kind postcards. Beginner level.

Create a journal cover out of selvage strips and make it truly your own! This cover will fit a regular composition book and can be re-used when your journal is full. Start collecting those selvages! Intermediate level.
